People’s Education Society, founded by Bharatratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar at Mumbai,in 1945, is having a network of numberous Educational Institutions of higher learning,in Maharashtra,Karnataka and Bihar. Theuniform appreciation and goodwill earned by this August Society, over tumultuous period of above 77 year, with its Numerous schools and colleges at mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Mahad, Pandharpur, Aurangabad, Bodha Gaya, Vashi and Kolhapur, as the centers of learning, have opened up vistas of knowledge for the intellected for marching towards new fulfillment of Enlightenment and Wisdom.P.E.S. has started Engineering College in the year 1994. The next achievement is starting of P.E.S Polytechnic in 2010 with five Branches with total intake capacity of 300 students for Five core branches i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
